News Release:
This news release is an example that you can use for your church or organization’s newsletter and your local newspapers and TV stations.

To use:

1. Fill in the blanks with the appropriate information.

2. Submit the release and photos to your organization’s newsletter at least two months before your drive. Follow up with a phone call to make sure they are going to run the article and answer any questions.

3. Submit the release and photos to your local newspaper at least two weeks before your drive. Follow up with a phone call to make sure they are going to run the article and answer any questions. Make sure they understand why the drive is important to you personally.
